How Sandhurst Golf Club ended up with 6 Handiskins finalists this year
Every now and then we get things that pop up as problems that we can fix. But following Sandhurst Golf Club’s 5th qualifying round they had 2 players lock together for the 4th place in their Handiskins Final. We could not separate them as these 2 players had 5 identical rounds so Sandhurst was heading for a 5 person final.
That’s what we thought when another member asked why he wasn’t on the leaders board – Andrew Romas had paid and joined the Handiskins competition on round 2 but an honest mistake of forgetting to send through his details was made. Andrew’s scores would have him well and truly in the final. The club had already confirmed the 5 players for their final and now had to make it 6.
Handiskins wishes these 6 players all the best in the final and they all will be receiving an invitation to the Handiskins National Championship.
