A $230 jackpot hole won by Quinn Mathieson rocketed him to the top of the money tree helping him to a $275 winning total at a tight Handiskins final at Secret Harbour Golf Club today. With 10 of the 18 holes jackpotted it was anyone's game and all players had their chances in a classic tussle. In the end Matheison took the honours, edging out fellow finalists Peter Wildbore, Ron Bice, and David Amos who was in his second consecutive final. Well done guys and we hope to see you at the Handiskins National Championship at RACV Royal Pines 29th April to 3rd May on the Gold Coast.
All four finalists received a Bridgestone Golf Cap and fought kit out for their share in $600 of Club Vouchers. The final standings were:
- Quinn Mathieson- $275
- Peter Wildbore - $215
- Ron Bice - $95
- David Amos - $15
National Finalists
All four finalists have now also qualified for the national championship and are extended an invitation to contest Australasia's best Amateur golf championship at the 2020 Handiskins National Final at RACV Royal Pines Resort next year (Wed 29 Apr - Sun 3 May 2020). Given the great spirit contesting today we are sure all four finalists would be able to claim the silverware and be crowned Handiskins National Champion. Handiskins National Final Packages are now open to qualifiers to secure their rooms.
