The Handiskins 2019 final at City Golf Club Toowoomba saw the sun finally shine, and Jono Dolley reaped the golden rewards. The great weather was in complete contrast to the rain all the way through the qualifying rounds. Well done to the 4 finalists who made it through to contest another great final, but the spoils go to Jono Dolley who edged out Brad Wolski, Justin Pengilly, and an unlucky Shari McDermott.
All four finalists received a Bridgestone Golf Cap and fought kit out for their share in $600 of Club Vouchers. The final standings were:
- Jono Dolley - $300
- Brad Wolski - $260
- Justin Pengilly - $30
- Shari McDermott - $10
National Finalists
All four finalists have now also qualified for the national championship and are extended an invitation to contest Australasia's best Amateur golf championship at the 2020 Handiskins National Final at RACV Royal Pines Resort next year (Wed 29 Apr - Sun 3 May 2020). Given the great spirit contesting today we are sure all four finalists would be able to claim the silverware and be crowned Handiskins National Champion. Handiskins National Final Packages are now open to qualifiers to secure their rooms.
