It was a case of fourth time lucky for prolific Handiskins money-winner Andrew Lazenby, as he took out his first Handiskins Club Title at the 2019 Northern Golf Club Handiskins Club Championship yesterday. Handiskins is now in its fourth year at Northern Golf Club, and every year Lazenby has qualified for the club final. He has grown with every experience and every year he has gone one better than the year before - pocketing more and more prizemoney.

2017 - 3rd Place pocketing $240
2018 - 2nd Place pocketing $360
2019 - Club Champion pocketing $560
Having only just snuck through the qualifying rounds (on countback) to earn his way into another club championship final, Lazenby made the most of the occasion to pick up 2 jackpot holes to edge out fellow finalists Sasha Culakovski, Shane Stewart, and James Lavender. Well done Andrew on your phenomenal achievement and for finally winning that elusive club championship in your fourth attempt. It was great to see everyone in the money and we hope to see you all at the Handiskins National Championship at RACV Royal Pines 29th April to 3rd May on the Gold Coast.
All four finalists received a Bridgestone Golf Cap and fought kit out for their share in $1200 of Club Vouchers. The final standings were:

National Championships Qualifications
All four finalists have now also qualified for the national championship and are extended an invitation to contest Australasia's best Amateur golf championship at the 2020 Handiskins National Championship at RACV Royal Pines Resort next year (Wed 29 Apr - Sun 3 May 2020). Given the great spirit contesting today we are sure all four finalists would be able to claim the silverware and be crowned Handiskins National Champion. Handiskins National Final Packages are now open to qualifiers to secure their rooms.
