2020 has been an amazing year. Whilst we have lost all our Melbourne clubs due to COVID-19 the clubs that have played have shown huge increases in numbers and today we had two more.
Gailes Golf Club in Brisbane had their first round and signed up 51 members to play in their Handiskins competition. It was also the first round for Wodonga Golf Club and they had 75 members eager to play in their Handiskins Competition.
Thanks to Brent Barlow and his team at Gailes and Gavin Vearing (pictured) and his team at Wodonga. A special thanks to Dennis Crowley for his help in Queensland whilst I haven't been able to cross the border. It's been a crazy year in golf, and despite the shutdowns we have seen some incredible results for the clubs that could get their comps up and running.
We are looking stronger than ever as the world opens up in the months and years ahead, and we thank you all for your support of Handiskins.
