Now in their 6th year of Handiskins, the members of Devilbend Golf Club know a thing or two about the stress and anxiety the Handiskins final can deliver for the skins finalists, and 2019 was no different. In the end it was a $330 jackpot hole that lifted Richard de Jong from the outhouse to the penthouse, giving the win over fellow finalists Hugh Rice , Dennis Crowley, and John Damman. Well done guys and we hope to see you at the Handiskins National Championship at RACV Royal Pines 29th April to 3rd May on the Gold Coast.
All four finalists received a Bridgestone Golf Cap and fought kit out for their share in $600 of Club Vouchers. The final standings were:
- Richard de Jonge - $365
- Hugh Rice - $115
- Dennis Crowley - $95
- John Damman - $25
National Finalists
All four finalists have now also qualified for the national championship and are extended an invitation to contest Australasia's best Amateur golf championship at the 2020 Handiskins National Final at RACV Royal Pines Resort next year (Wed 29 Apr - Sun 3 May 2020). Given the great spirit contesting today we are sure all four finalists would be able to claim the silverware and be crowned Handiskins National Champion. Handiskins National Final Packages are now open to qualifiers to secure their rooms.
