There was a big Winner in Pine Rivers Golf Club $1,200 Handiskins Final held today. Troy Davidson won two big jackpot holes to finish the day with a whopping $820 tally. Coming in next was Chris Norman, followed by Peter Taylor and Chris Mouldey. Despite the huge win to Davidson - it was far closer than what the prizemoney reflects, with every player involved in all the squared holes. To Troy's credit though, he played an exceptional round of golf and turned pressure into diamonds when it mattered. Well done guys and we hope to see you at the Handiskins National Championship at RACV Royal Pines 29th April to 3rd May on the Gold Coast.
All four finalists received a Bridgestone Golf Cap and fought kit out for their share in $1200 of Club Vouchers. The final standings were:
- Troy Davidson - $820
- Chris Norman - $240
- Peter Taylor - $100
- Chris Mouldey - $40
National Finalists
All four finalists have now also qualified for the national championship and are extended an invitation to contest Australasia's best Amateur golf championship at the 2020 Handiskins National Final at RACV Royal Pines Resort next year (Wed 29 Apr - Sun 3 May 2020). Given the great spirit contesting today we are sure all four finalists would be able to claim the silverware and be crowned Handiskins National Champion. Handiskins National Final Packages are now open to qualifiers to secure their rooms.
