Oxley Golf Club - 2020 Handiskins Club Championship
There's a new Jackpot King at Oxley Golf Club in Brisbane's West. No we aren't talking about what goes down in the Pokie room or over a few Keno bets. We are talking about Chris Creedy's Jackpot run at today's Handiskins club final at Oxley Golf Club.
After dominating qualifying rounds against a huge field of 95 players contesting the Oxley event, all eyes were on Chris Creedy to see if he could carry his form into the pressure-cooker Skins final
And turn up he did! In all Creedy won 14 of the 18 Skins available with 13 of the skins coming from 4 big money jackpot holes. It was indeed a nice payday for Creedy pocketing a whopping $815 from his days work, just missing out on his place in the Handiskins Prizemoney Hall of Fame. Next in the money was two-time finalist finalist Mukhtar Basha $295 then Ryan Schwarz $75 and an unlucky Colin Neal on $15, who had drawn 5 of the holes but just couldn't jag one outright. Its a game of slim margins and if it was played tomorrow you would undoubtedly get a different result
Well done everyone, we hope to see you at the Handiskins National Championship at RACV Royal Pines in 2021 on the Gold Coast. All four finalists received a Bridgestone Golf Cap and fought it out for their share in $1200 of Club Vouchers.
National Championships Qualifications 2021
All four finalists have now also qualified for the national championship and are extended an invitation to contest Australasia's best Amateur golf championship at the 2021 Handiskins National Championship at RACV Royal Pines Resort next May. Given the great spirit contesting today we are sure all four finalists would be able to claim the silverware and be crowned Handiskins National Champion. The 2021 event will be held from Wednesday 28th April – Sunday 2nd May 2021.
Non-qualifiers can still join the fun of the National Championships

Time for Tony Martin to work on his short game?
Tony Martin will be in a position to clean up at the Handiskins National Championships Week. After taking out the the nearest the pin challenge in the first round of qualifying, don't be surprised if you see Tony Martin also spending more time around the Royal Pines Resort's chipping greens in the coming months. Tony Martin could be contesting both the Peter Lehmann Wines Golf Challenge on the Gold Coast, as well as having the opportunity to contest the Yamaha Chipping competition at the 2021 Handiskins Championship Week. The winner will return to their club as the owner of a brand new Yamaha Golf Cart.
