Qeanbeyan Crowns Trish Noel as its first female Handiskins Champion in 2024

Highlights of the May 2024 Comps

For the first time a lady  made the final at Queanbeyan Golf Club - and how good did she go? 16 Handicapper Trish Noel was the biggest prize money winner and the first Female champ at Queanbeyan - You Go Trish!

To contrast this, Plus3-marker Cedric Tsing taking out the championship at Gainsborough Greens and Scratch marker Scott Vlahos took out the Cumberland Golf Club men's championship.

It just goes to show Handiskins is the ultimate event for every golfer - Male / Female / Low-Marker / High-marker / Junior / Seniors all have the chance to be the club chance if they play their best!

A final shoutout goes to the inaugural champion at Ipswich Golf Club who held out a fast finishing Brandon Burrows to win on countback. Golf can be cruel Brandon, but hopefully you can get revenge next year.

Win a Yamaha Golf Cart with HandiskinsDon't forget the Yamaha Chipping Competition!

Don't forget that three players from each participating club also have the chance to clean up at the Handiskins National Championships Week. After taking out the the nearest the pin challenge in the first, third and fifth rounds of qualifying, don't be surprised if you see these qualifiers spending an extended amount of time around the club chipping greens in the coming months. All three players who took out the nearest the pin have scored an invitation to contest the Yamaha Chipping competition at the 2025 Handiskins Championship Week.
